How to Make Crumbl Copycat Dark Dream Cookies

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees and lining a few baking sheets with parchment paper. This step is key so your cookies don’t stick and cleaning up is a breeze.

In a stand mixer bowl, cream together the butter and both sugars until smooth. Then add the egg and vanilla, mixing well while scraping the sides often so everything blends evenly.

Next, add the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix thoroughly, again scraping the sides as needed to make sure nothing is left behind. Fold in about half of the chocolate chips so the dough is studded with chocolate goodness throughout.

Use a large ice cream scoop to portion the dough onto your prepared sheets. Gently flatten each cookie into a disc and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top, pressing them lightly so they stick

Flatten dough slightly and top with remaining chocolate chips.

Bake for 10–12 minutes, just until the centers are set. Don’t worry if they seem a little soft; these cookies firm up as they cool. Let them rest on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack or plate. Trust me, it’s worth the wait.

Serving Suggestions

I love these cookies fresh and slightly warm, with a glass of milk or a cozy cup of coffee. They’re also great crumbled over ice cream or even paired with a dollop of whipped cream for a little impromptu dessert.

Storage Tips

Store these cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the baked cookies for up to a month. If you want fresh-baked vibes, pop them in the microwave for 10–15 seconds, and they’ll taste like they just came out of the oven.
