Large ice cream scoop
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 ⅓ cups flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips divided
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment.
Cream butter and sugars until smooth.
Mix in egg and vanilla.
Add flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; mix well.
Fold in half the chocolate chips.
Scoop dough onto sheets and flatten slightly.
Top with remaining chocolate chips.
Bake 10–12 minutes, let cool on sheets.
